Howard has 8 dorms on campus. Two all girls dorm, 3 all boys dorm, and 3 coed dorm. There is the Blackurn Center. In it there is the cafe and a game room. There is the fine art center, the college of arts and science, the college of communications, the college of denistry, and the school of law. There is the burr gym, Greene Stadium, and The Pulse.

Opening Convocation
December 12, 2008Convocation is the official beginning of the academic year and serves as a welcoming ceremony for first-year students and an opportunity to honor Howard’s recent accomplishments. President Ribeau will preside over his first convocation since taking the helm on August 1.During his speech, Dr. Sidney A. Ribeau talks about how he wants Howard to become one of the top reasearch universities.
Also during the ceromony olimpic gold medalist was honored by giving Special Citation of Achievement for his stunning performance during the summer Olympic games in Beijing
